With Gratitude: Honoring Liora’s Bat Mitzvah Through Giving

The Rose Castle Foundation is a peace and reconciliation organisation based at the historic Rose Castle in Cumbria, UK. Our mission is to equip a global network of emerging leaders to cross some of the worlds most challenging divides. Through immersive residential programmes, leadership development, and international partnerships, we create transformative spaces where conflict can be explored, a better quality of disagreement can take place, trust built, and resilient relationships formed.

Our work spans the UK and reaches into regions marked by deep division — including the Middle East, the United States and parts of Africa.  We work with emerging leaders, educators, peacebuilders, faith leaders, and young people — all committed to building a more just, connected, and resilient world.

Liora chose to mark this important step in her life by supporting the Rose Castle Foundation - a place where people from different faiths, cultures, and identities come together to explore difference, deepen trust, and imagine new paths forward. Rooted in the historic Rose Castle in Cumbria, the Foundation creates space for dialogue, healing, and leadership in a divided world.

Bat Mitzvah means “daughter of the commandment” - a moment when a young person embraces the responsibilities of community and moral action. Liora’s choice to support the work of peacebuilding and hospitality at Rose Castle speaks to her spirit and the kind of future she hopes to help shape.
